Terms and Conditions for ROOT Therapy Clinic
These terms and conditions outline the agreement between you (the client) and ROOT Therapy Clinic regarding the therapy services provided. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms
1. Service Guarantee
At ROOT Therapy Clinic, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for our therapy sessions. This means:

After your first three sessions, you will begin to "feel better," and your outlook on the future will shift positively.

If, after the third session, you do not feel more equipped to cope than you did before your first session, you are entitled to a full refund for the third session.
2. Refund Process

If you wish to apply for a refund, you must notify us within 48 hours following your third session.

Include your name, session date, and a brief explanation of why you feel the therapy has not met your expectations.
3. Payment Terms

Payment is required prior to or at the time of the session. If you choose to pay in advance and subsequently request a refund, the full amount for the second session will be refunded within 14 days of your request.
4. No Miracle Cures

The therapy services provided are based on established neuroscience principles. While we strive to help you achieve positive outcomes, we do not guarantee miraculous results or instant fixes.
5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions and actively participating in the therapeutic process.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees.
6. Confidentiality

All information shared during therapy sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability

ROOT Therapy Clinic will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to Terms
ROOT Therapy Clinic reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients, and your continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of the new terms.

11. Recording of Sessions – Notice and Implied Consent
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that therapy sessions may occasionally be audio or video recorded for the purposes of:

Client and therapist safety, including safeguarding and supervision;

Training and professional development, where recordings may be shared within ROOT’s therapist training programmes.

Recordings used for training will only be accessible to individuals formally enrolled in the ROOT training programme and will not be made publicly available or posted online in an open format.

​Consent is implied through acceptance of these terms; however, you retain the right to decline recording at any time. If you do not wish for a session to be recorded, please inform your therapist prior to the start of the session, and no recording will take place. Your decision will be respected and will not affect your access to therapy in any way.
